Don't make me feel bad, Ren, she likes cooking! Sure, she likes cooking with her family more but most of the time, I'm still at work when she starts. Uh, okay, well, me, one, Frannie, two, Maria, Tony, their three kids, that makes seven. My brother's kids stay sometimes so that's another two, then my Ma. So...ten.
That's a large number of people to cook for everyday, I imagine it must take some precision to time everything to finish at the same time. I don't suppose your Ma would be willing to share a few tips some time, would she?
No, I've not tried them. I meant are they really that tasty?
I'd enjoy that too. I'd be happy to help her prepare a meal, even. I've never really experienced a family mealtime, cooking for such a number would be a real treat. Of course, I'd leave once the table is set, I'd hate for you to think that I'm inviting myself into your household.
Yes, it has proven worth having. The DVD player is a wonderful addition as well. Sometimes, if I'm fortunate, I catch some televised opera on one of the channels. What would you recommend, Ray?
It seems like quite a lonely thing to do, ordering food for just myself.
(ooc: *sends Ren to get a mop* Heh. I bought a little packet of spiced tea leaves from Whitards. It smells gorgeous, it tastes pretty good... But there's these bits floating in it, big, chunky bits, and I don't know if I'm meant to eat them....Ren's not helping, telling me I'm unlikely to die from trying....)

Date: 2007-03-15 11:53 pm (UTC)I never can't "be bothered" to cook. Although, sometimes I do fall asleep before I have the chance and just don't eat that evening.
