ooc: And finally, the time has come...

r_vecchioSo, yeah. I took these when I went home for the weekend last week. Finally, I hear you cry! ...I hear Kerry cry, anyway. The rest of you have probably forgotten! XD
Background story: For my 19th, my older sister who is FANTABULOUS got in contact with Callum Keith Rennie's manager, Liz Hodgson. She wrote this fantastic email and after much secret planning and emails back and forth, she got Callum to send me a personalised signed photo! IIII KNOW!! How AWESOME is that?! (I have subsquently psycho-analysed his handwriting....if that's possible....)
Anyway, I'll cut to the good bits and show you the photos I took!
Psycho-analysis:
He be wearing a black suit jacket, right? And writing in black pen. The HAPPY is great, the B starts in the middle of his white shirt. Damn, thinks Callum, I can't fit all of BIRTHDAY in, most of the word will be lost in the black. Aha! Thinks Callum, as he quite carefully puts two speech marks on the left side of the B. They're very deliberate marks which suggests deep contemplation and lateral thinking to get himself out of this pickle. Once he's decided on his route, the right side speech are done much faster and he continues on his way.
So far we have: HAPPY "B" DAY
And now, Callum is a very wise man who learns from his mistakes. He thinks Hmmm, Carolyn isn't the shortest of names. However, no matter how good his intentions, he clearly overcompensates and starts my name too far left. He thinks he's okay, carries on unawares, perfectly content to join up the ARO until, dum dum dum!! He realises he started too far left and the name is going to look weird and out of place. So he takes the pen off the photo and spaces out the L Y N to fill up the space! How clever this man is...
The beginning of his signature is place quite neatly in the middle of the white for maximum viewing pleasure. You can't really see it in these pics but the dot of his i (in what I believe to be KEITH since it's somewhat too far from the end to be RENNIE) looks like a heart! It's not. But I can delude myself for a moment each time I stare! :D
