01. Ties
...I wear them probably 60% of the time when I'm at work. Always on a Sunday too. They're silk, I have excellent taste. Uh, my favorite one is the same color as my eyes. When my colorblind uncle picked it out in a store for me my Ma apparently went off on one about how he'd been faking his condition all along to get out of driving everyone back from Florida every summer. To this day, he still claims that even though other colorblind people can drive, he's a special case. That's why my Ma drives. Every year I book the hotel room and every year my Ma stops speaking to her sister. All that effort just to go down there and glare at her. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. Having the house to myself for a week is worth the hassle, believe me.

02. Pool
I assume Murphy means the game, not the place to swim. The pool table is back in my basement again, which is a shame but uh, Fraser was right, it was a tight fit. It was my Pop's, he bought it for mother's day. By father's day my Ma had let him back in the house. It's a beautiful table, my father knew his wood. He knew the faces of the balls better than he did the faces of his own kids but uh, boy, he played well. He was a hustler. He didn't look like much but once the bets were on, he'd pull this trick, three balls down off the break and from then on you couldn't stop him. He knocked them down like a pro, it was amazing to watch. Pool was my father's thing, not really mine. The table's still beautiful though.

05. Coffee
I used to have it with cream and sugar, now I take it black. Thank God the cappuccino machines also makes espresso.
