Deep Impact is a thoroughly depressing movie. If you haven't seen it, good for you. Comet, earth, boom, basically. Little boom anyway. I bet Fraser'd be on the pre-selected list; that, or have some fool-proof plan to save all of Greater Chicago with Kowalski's toothpick and a bootlace. I always end up wondering what I'd do if the world was ending in ten days. I get as far as "save the waffle maker" and then, sad as it sounds, I draw a blank. Kind of. So like I said - thoroughly depressing movie. I don't recommend it.

I just get so frustrated. And finally this opportunity comes along for us to actually spend sometime together and what do I do? Screw it up. Over some stupid- over nothing. Seems like I'm always doing that.

Well, that's something we have in common. But if someone can't accept that sometimes, you're going to screw up, they aren't worth your time.

They're worth the time. And y'know, they do accept it, so much so that they've come to expect it. After every argument it's like a waiting game for the next one to come along. Healthy, huh?

Honesty, please God. But you know, Italians aren't just picky, we're Olympic arguers too. Heh, if he ever had the guts to come to dinner at my house he'd see pretty quick it's par for the course. S'what we do.

It sounds like you're reliving the last year of my marriage. We Irish are fighters.

Maybe we're doing it backwards. Separation period first. And I don't think you need to thank your heritage for being a fighter, Murph, that's all you. I think it's good to be one.

I wouldn't want to have a relationship backwards. Well, whether it's my heritage or me, I'll take it.

Think of it this way: if a regular relationship is doomed to fail and you're living it backwards? The only way is up.
