She seemed... like... y'know, like Stella. We talked a bit, but she didn't really wanna talk about the baby thing. She said I get too upset about stuff like that.

[identity profile] r-vecchio.livejournal.com 2006-10-25 09:05 pm (UTC)(link)
At least she acknowledged it with you, she won't even talk to me. About the baby or normal every day stuff. I don't think it- Florida was such a great idea.

I've tried her parents too. They're not having any of it, they say if Stella's got a problem she'll go to them. I don't think they like me but right now, I don't give a damn. I just need to get Stel sorted out. I thought she might talk to you but - any other ideas?

[identity profile] ray--k.livejournal.com 2006-10-25 11:25 pm (UTC)(link)
The Stella only talks when she wants to talk. I figured you'd know that by now. When it got to the w... the end, when it got to the end of our marriage there was not amount of pushin' I could do to get her to talk.

And her parents don't like anyone. Not even each other.

[identity profile] r-vecchio.livejournal.com 2006-10-25 11:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah but not talking at all? That's... that means it's the end, doesn't it. I knew it.

Well that makes me feel so much better.

[identity profile] ray--k.livejournal.com 2006-10-25 11:42 pm (UTC)(link)
I dunno what anything means with her, man. Not a clue.

It wasn't said to make you feel better. Just fact. Stella's folks are the bitter kind.

[identity profile] r-vecchio.livejournal.com 2006-10-25 11:45 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm pretty sure I know.

Remind me to teach you when I'm being sarcastic some time in the future. 'Cause words on the screen? Just not working.

[identity profile] ray--k.livejournal.com 2006-10-25 11:53 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm sorry. Stella's not an easy woman to figure out. Trust me, I spent most of my life tryin' to do it.

Or maybe you just suck at sarcasm.

[identity profile] r-vecchio.livejournal.com 2006-10-26 12:22 am (UTC)(link)
Gotcha.

... I have no comeback. That hurt deep Kowalski. Sarcasm is my ... thing. Face to face will be different though, I'm sure.

[identity profile] ray--k.livejournal.com 2006-10-26 04:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Face to face you'll show me the true strength of your sarcasm, Vecchio? I'm shakin'. No, really. That wasn't sarcasm.

Well, okay, maybe a little bit was sarcasm.

[identity profile] r-vecchio.livejournal.com 2006-10-26 05:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, you should be shaking, Kowalski. You got Fraser, it's only fair I get sarcasm.

[identity profile] ray--k.livejournal.com 2006-10-26 06:05 pm (UTC)(link)
I'll give up sarcasm if that means I get Fraser. No problem.

[identity profile] r-vecchio.livejournal.com 2006-10-26 06:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Then... it looks like you'll be giving up sarcasm. For good.

[identity profile] ray--k.livejournal.com 2006-10-26 06:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Seems like a fair trade to me.

[identity profile] r-vecchio.livejournal.com 2006-10-26 07:04 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm not trading Fraser, Kowalski. I wouldn't do that. I'm just saying I'm not gonna argue about you and him anymore. That much.

You get the Fraser you know, I get the Fraser I know. That seems fair.
