Why have I got a journal?
Good question.

Never been one for writing but I guess I just need to know that there are people out there willing to listen. Not that I really got anything important to say, just nice to talk, you know?

I used to talk. Actually, I had a friend, well, he's still my friend, he used to talk enough for the both of us. But since moving to Florida, I haven't really kept in touch as much as I had hoped I would. But I told him I'd keep in touch, and who knows, maybe it'll be easier this way? Anyway, Benny, if you're reading this, hey they finally got electricity up in the Mother-land huh?! Maybe you're finally rubbing off on me, but I miss Chicago, I miss my home, now I kinda get how you felt all those years stuck in Illinois. Hell, I even miss the Eski--  Inuit stories. And you. And Dief. I miss being a cop, I miss the 2-7. I miss being Detective Raymond Vecchio. Maybe I'll get it back one day, all of it.

Anyway, I'm gonna go ahead and friend your Ray journal with my Leoben Conoy journal and my personal one, cause it just makes life easier to have the journals I frequent viewable on my fiends page no matter who I'm signed in as. I'm lazy. It's a thing...
